Flame Up To Fame

Flame Up To Fame

A Poem by Evelyn Ohiomoje
"

The heat experienced during trying times can be rewarded when we are determined to succeed.

"
With an incandescent emergence,
And a hail of praise to accompany the name.
A journey of fame has began;
A time to show and tell,
How a survival story
Became a success story:

"The name I wanted to hear
I inscribed on my palm
The colour I wanted to see,
I painted on my wall.
A glory to my eminence
I imagined and perceived.
And my heart embraced
The world I hoped to ignite.

Now when you hear my name,
Know there was a time
I was once ashamed and lame
Yet I aimed and overcame"

Powerful and worthwhile words dear Poet.
"Now when you hear my name,
Know there was a time
I was once ashamed and lame
Yet I aimed and overcame"
The above lines. Perfect use of thoughts and a strong ending. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
