Rant?

Rant?

A Poem by Exhalt

Wishful thinking?
I guess so.
To have your motives questioned,
at every turn you make.
One step forward to take three back.
Is this the pull of life?

Days of repetitious moves:
Wake up...  morning ritual... drive... work... eat... work... drive... eat... sleep...
Over and over, like pawns.
We move in precession, like cattle.
Stampeding through life.
As humans what else do we know?

We feed off media and we survive by society.
Looking good is now a must.
Robust is out, twig is in.
That only leaves room for few.
Goodnight world, so fruitful and caring,
Good morning society out ruthless master.

Ah, you see I had to read this three times before I realized the secret in the narrative. I feel you should take another pass at it, for the ones reading will never get past your very complicated wording, great imagery and flow, however wording is where you lose the reader, well done.
