Fearful Hate

Fearful Hate

A Poem by Asmus Green
"

A poem about my idea of the relation between hate and fear.

"
I claim to be reason.
I believe in my sense
I'll never give in,
I'll fight for my defense.

I lurk as you do.
You'd be right to forget
That life has little meaning
Without regret.

I don't know my place
I don't keep in line
Get in my face;
Fear shall be thine

I know where to hide
I live behind the line
Get close like a tide;
Hate shall be thine

Reason is rarely found,
In minds that are bound.

As hate is made with fear,
 and fear is made with hate.
They will rarely choose to hear,
As their minds has made their fate.

I appreciated the stylistic choice of the varying fonts and color. It added a second density to the poem. Good going

Thank you for noticing. I tried out some colors that symbolized hate, fear and reason.

Great write. All the words came together to make profound statements in a haunting way.
Well done!
