You wonder how your life will be

When you find the perfect girl or the perfect guy,

Your hold them up too standards that

Never should be done,

We all should be equal.

You give and you try, but all along

Your partner isn’t seeing the pain that is

In your eyes, she doesn’t know

The fact that you have felt most

Unloved you’re entire life,

Until you found her and started

To make a life that you

Were hoping would last a lifetime.

It comes back to give and take.

You give her your love, your home,

Your heart, but she is taking

And belittling you

Yet you are too afraid to end it all.

Its then one day things when all downhill.

The emotions and the arguments get

Too much, its then she walks out on you,

Leaving you with no surety,

Are we done or are we just taking time out.

As our tongues becomes a mind of hate and dread.

Who would want to return to a love that

Will leave you dry and unloved.

What your heart seek isn’t what

You always get.

But you give and give,

And she takes it all away.
