Death

Death

A Poem by nicolas taylor carlin

Death is cold as ice

But warm and feels nice

As you enter it you need more life

But you can't reach it

Even with all your might

Struggle and scream

Cry and pout

It doesn't matter because

Without a doubt you lost your life

To the hand of death

Now accept your fate and

Let it do the rest

Close your eyes dream of the best

Of the life you had

That was taken so very fast.

"Cold as ice" and the end, fini, hasta la vista, baby... indifferent to any possibility, just a flat line of whatever!! Sorry, Nicky, my mind froze up there for a second.. better now, thanks for the read, but I think I will stay far away from this "death" thing..
