Wealth and Gold

Wealth and Gold

A Poem by Forgotten

A man devoid of wealth,
Can make up his worth with a heart of gold,
Yet a man with wealth devoid of a heart,
Is simply the husk of a man.

Very good wisdom in your words. Better to have many children at your feet than to be alone with your wealth. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

"I've been a miner for a heart of gold." This is a quote-worthy philosophy dressed in poetic threads. You've said much in these four lines...nicely done.
