I love how you equate "tear" and "ink" . . . so concise, so thought-provoking . . . half the poems I read here are written with ink tears (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

One of my favorite forms, Fran, and you've created a great one here. This poem leaks emotion. Nice work.

i'm moved to sadness .. well done says i! your senryu is so sensitive in presentation ... voices of poets commune on an ethereal plane .. brought to Earth with paper and ink ... "kissing dark ink dry" is super strong imaging .. such sadness ... :(

love the paradox of the last line....and the entire piece dealing with a poet's tears that are often not falling from the eye, but landing on the paper as the ink drips...
excellent write.'

Kissing dark ink dry. Such beautiful poetic expression here Fran Marie. A wonderful piece of brevity which evokes much emotion. Lovely piece.
