The Friendly love

The Friendly love

A Poem by Gentleman's Art

Hash hash girl go ahead and cry,
I'm not your mamma but to calm you I'll try,
Let me tune my ears to the sound of your voice,
So speak your mouth dry as I'm ready for what's in your mind.
So don't force even a single tear back, let them out,
Empty your eyes and my shirt will wipe them dry,
You need not worry about the stains,
I came prepared for this.... sorry you.
Don't transfer your feelings for him to me,
I didn't come as his replacement,
And I'm certainly not going to be his preferred double,
You asked for a FRIEND not a lover remember!!!
Don't let this weakness erase your harsh tone on my feelings,
You molded me to your buddy and him to your companion,
You froze me with the ice chiseled from your soul,
And embraced him with the heat of your heart,
You notice now that I have a big heart?
It was not so when his wasn't stone cold hard,
What makes you two so different, tell me WHAT!!?
When you used my feelings to fulfill your desires,
You gave me a fools hope of you and me together,
And left me broken and alone in the pitch black darkness,
You worsened the pain like salt to an open surgery wound,
When you smiled with the request of being just 'MY FRIEND',
Forget my grief I'm here for yours,

I'm obedient to the role you bestowed upon me,
Ask for anything you want me to be,
Do it know before my mind is set to another task,
Serious girl I'm here for you,
Always have and with delightful regret will,
Your puzzled with my mixed reaction of you,
Sort yourself for the answer is simple,
You still are stuck on why?
Well because I still....... uuuh..... looove yoouu.
Phew that was inexplicably easy.
