![]() Recyclable MemoriesA Poem by JanuaryDreamer♥![]() written in the stuffed bear's point of view :)![]() It seems as if it were only just yesterday that you and I used to frolic and play together in your small, colorful childish room, but now you've forgotten all about me I assume.
Now you've gone and grown up without me, I've watched you grow up from a small baby. I remember when I used to be your best friend those rainy days we would sit indoors and play pretend.
You are off to high school and I am left behind in the garage in a box with the others of my kind. Collecting dust and losing my dark brown color, getting kicked in the face by your old stuffed beaver.
The years have passed and I am still left in this box, I thought I would die in here until I heard some knocks.. There was a bright light and someone grabbed me out of the cardboard jailcell, I wanted to cheer and shout!
Come to find out, that someone was just you all along now you're so grown up; I hadn't seen you in so long.. You hand me off to a little child that looks almost like you did when I first met you, now I belong to this lil tyke.
I get to relive the moments that I had with you as a kid, now I get to do everything with this child that we ever did. Nostalgia hit so hard when your baby held me tight and close, I'll be sure to always be there through this kid's happiness and sorrows. © 2011 JanuaryDreamer♥Author's Note
