Fading away

I don’t know what to say

It’s like I’m fading away

There’s too much to do

To where I wanted to start

I just can’t think it through

Something’s already changed

I wonder how I got here

If I look at it

It’s getting worse

Moving on was quite hard

I had too much to think

I don’t know what to do

It happened suddenly

I was not like this

I am bitter but I don’t hate

Well this is something new

Forget about the song

Forget about the book

Forget about the poem

Forget about the gift

Might as well forget about me

This is hard

I felt love like it was never before

It was amazing

But now this is something else.

Forgotten already

I don’t know what to say

It’s like I’m fading away

This is the best love poem I've read in a long time. I'm not a fan of love poems, becuz often there is blame & whining. The reason your poem is so unique is becuz you stay focused on how this feels for you . . . which is the only thing we can say with sureness . . . and the way you describe how this feels, it's very incredible, as far as being unlike anything I've seen before. well yeah ... it comes in waves ... life that is, love that is, emotions too I like the self dialogue feel about this piece ... it feels desperate ... but I guess that's just the sorting through of emotions too hey? Nice work X
