Bound

Thoughts wrapped
at chapter's end,
held together
by yards of twine

Raw thumbs -
these fiery things,
stung forever
by thoughts of mine

Time lost -
a colored blur,
burnt to forget
its caustic touch

Calm smile
struggling for words,
lips never part
yet say so much

I really like this poem. I feel like it's about anxiety, but then again it says
"calm smile,
Struggling for words"
Which makes we wonder otherwise... I guess I'll have to analyze it some more lol, but the best poems aren't always the easiest to inturpret :)
