Simple words..3rd anniversary of mums passing today 09/04/22

Even though tides still ebb and flow,
nights cede to day and seasons change,
the one true constant wanted, needed,
is now naught but raw, emotional, memories,
that bring tears when least expected.

In its brevity it speaks in volumes. You have my sincerest condolences. Just know that wherever she is now, like the true Liverpudlian she is, she'll never walk alone. Here's hoping the Reds can do her a favour.

this is so moving, Gee...and I am sorry for your loss...and feel your pain...still miss mine so much...she passed four and a half years ago.

So sorry for your loss Gee. I still smart at my mother's death and that was some time ago. You capture an air of helpless emptiness, loss and grief in this short poignant poem. A lovey tribute.
