The Dancer

It is really a kind of dream of hope in the evolution of the human spirit to its eventual purest form.

The Dancer

 

I am the Dancer

at the Gates of Time

I am the Answer

to the Quest Sublime

 

Hear my laughter

as I lightly rise

through the clouds

to the starry skies

 

Do you wish

to join me here?

There is a way,

so have no fear

 

There is no limit

to what you are

when you look up

and find your star

 

And remember when

the roadway bends

The Perfect Circle

never ends

 

I am simply one

who has gone before

and, wandering lost

I found a door

 

And passing through

I seemed to see

the endless waves of

an eternal sea

 

Each wave was life

rising to a crest

then ebbing in pain

to its final rest

  

So ignore the cries

of the birthing mother

They just lead to the

strife of mortal life

 

And another

and another

and always

another...

 

Instead, take my hand

and dance with me

through the gates

of Eternity

 

And gaze in awe

at Infinity’s shore

where all is Possible

and Probably more

 

So come with me

where I have been

And you will see

what I have seen

 

Come with me in

 immortal fall

into Andromeda’s

welcome call

 

When aeons to come

 the stars will unite

our Milky Way with

Andromeda’s might

 

So, welcome, welcome

to all we’ll see

When our eternal life

will be

That was cool, I found myself dancing inside as I read this. The cadence was musical and the rhymes very good. Nicely done.
