for all my writing friends

May each of you be visited by the Muses

on each and every day.

May every review

contribute to your growth as a writer.

May your successes be many

and your failures few.

May you always have as much as you need,

not as much as you want;

for in striving we advance.

May the criticism of those with limited understanding

lack the power to hurt you.

May you find joy and inspiration

in the smallest things in life;

as well as the largest.

May you never doubt yourself

and your talent.

 

Most of all,

in this Christmas season,

find joy and love

to last til end of time
