What They Think

What They Think

A Poem by Travis Gibson (poetic heroics)
"

inspired by a fellow poet... for poets

"

you there, take up arms

shun all of your charms

behind ignorant eyes

our sweet FREEDOM lies

they stare from on high

watching the weak die

now, i say no more

STAND UP! this means war

ready your pen hand

write for your freedom

send their wretched clan

to HELL-- for sins done

draft razor thoughts in the BLACKEST of ink---

DEATH TO CRITICS! we no longer care what you think

Dude... Are there rules?
-picks up the poetry manual-
There's a book on this? Why haven't I been told?
Holy cow they have my picture in here!
-holds it up and points-
It says: This person always does it wrong!
Pfft
-pithy hand wave-
Who reads this stuff anyway?

You have to be you always... If that's just twenty single spaced, two syllable words down a page.. So be it. It is your vision. :)
