Inside my head

Does the devil ever leave? 

Working in such a mystery.               

Whispering of all of the solitary memories.           

My mind’s voices go crazy             

 they all scream at me.  

All the doubts I possibly could have, 

plays beautiful music to me.

  Demons in my head 

preying

                  on emotional uncertainty..    

 Happy but truly depressed as can be…

Who could possibly understand me?    

I am as messed up as can be.

I do not care who leaves.

I do not have a heart

Thanks to my family.

Selfish, it’s all about me 

This is all my mind

It's important to know that you aren't alone Harmony. I have bipolar and thankfully most of the time I am well but every so often I become manic and my thinking becomes very disturbed. Luckily medication can bring me back to normal. I can only say good luck with your own situation and don't be too hard on yourself.

Sadly our minds can be our worse enemy, plying us with negative thinking. I have always found nature a great healer. Flooding the mind with beauty, helps push out the neggies. Thank you for sharing your poem.
