Heaven

a poem about living in present moment.

 

What do you think heaven is?

Do you know it's the ultimate bliss?

Do you think it's high in sky?

For if you think it's a big great lie.

It's here,now and now it's gone!

Open your senses and don't dare to yawn!

Cause you can lose in a second like this.

Look,look now,i know you missed.

Don't you say,you still didn't understand!

Heaven is in present moment my friend!

If you are too involved in your past.

you won't see heaven, it disappears fast!

This poem is wonderful. It carries a truth in it which some people can't actually see. If we live in the past and brood over what we have lost, we simply won't see the beauty of the present. Interesting my friend... Love your poem.

this is so true...i often think of how hell is on earth---with the pain and suffering we all go through in life...but you are right, we don't stop to be thankful for the good things, the good times, those heavenly times that come and go so fast, the ones we fail to appreciate.

Well, I was just thinking ov'r this write. I meant, this poetry makes much sense if one pays attention to your words. The world's already lost behind the walls of past... isn't it? And, if even the one spirit takes a time to think ov'r its own life and gives some moments to peace (sitting around the lonely room) then, I think, it can be lived instead of survived.
