A smile on her face

She walks into the room

What a disgrace

They always run to alcohol

Through the eyes

Of her lovers,

A frown is derived

Waiting to twist upon your face

As if it were a demon

And still she drank

And cut herself

And worked the city

As if nothing were wrong

Still hiding behind that sweet face

 

Only 14...her time wasn’t due

But life was created

And life was lost

Why was she punished

For wanting someone

To make her feel whole?

No matter the reasons

This could be the opening tale for how a superhero comes to be. It has this nice real edge twilight zone feel to it. Brutal like the Crow. How like a raven in love the voice...
