Beautiful Sunrise

An Awakening

My soul is yawning
At the birth of new
My mind is ticking
my heart already knew

Somewhere deep within
A person waited to be found
And in a room filled with people
I could only hear one sound

It said my days were numbered
That time was running out
Said I wasted many years
wondering what life's about

But I answered in quick return
I woke up just in time
I swallowed some fresh air
to save this life of mine

I gathered the shattered pieces
of myself here and there
I remembered my birthright
and forgot about my fears

I felt a hand upon my face
Removing blindness from my eyes
And when my eyes were opened
I could see the Beautiful Sunrise...
