I Miss You

I Miss You

A Poem by Hope Rose
"

For my love, who hopefully will understand the truth in these words.

"
I wish I could
Say I'm alright
But truth be told
I barely get by

I wish I could
laugh with someone
Instead I sit here
with no one

Why did you
decide to leave?
What does she have
that I don't?

I wish I knew
A way to move on
But I guess
I'll just say

"I miss you"

Just an interesting tidbit:
I'm thinking of making this into a song, and if you want to cowrite it, I'm more than willing. Just don't take all the credit, please.

no problem.
I really like the structure it adds to the overall feel of the poem, it reads really well and the space at the end before "I miss you" gives it a proper dramatic feel. Brilliant stuff, keep it up X :D
