As society disintegrates.....

I've been conducting a study on X Factor from around the world and these are a few conclusions.

The people are now the Emperors 

each presiding over a personal Rome.

A fiefdom of desires, where imaginations rule

where entertainment has replaced useful knowledge

in which celebrity status supersedes true understanding.

The reward is applause the accolade of the masses.

The Emperor wants fame and fortune

and he wants it now.

Mans idol is himself and celebrity status 

is the reward. 

Nero played the fiddle as Rome burned

the new Emperor entertains and has fun

as society disintegrates.
