the other contemplated

what he had seen

pondered in regard to

and slowly but surely

reached a conclusion.

How very true Huw, most people just jump in with an opinion as you said. But to think, ponder and size up the situation using your life experiences does help make a better decision in the long run.

Thanks again Dawn. I must confess that I have been both men. As a young man I had many opinions. I like to think that with age comes wisdom as well as grey hairs.
