Love it -- a perfect poem. And hurray for Stephen King. Now as to movie versus book, sorry Jack, the book is much better. What about the Friend's episode where Joey puts the book in the freezer! Ha. And Red, me too -- except Doctor Sleep, that is still by my bed.

[hopefully I'm not getting you mixed up with someone else's] I love this so much the imagery is awesome and I couldn't help think about Outlast its a game with crazy people in a Asylum. You have most definitely embodied the emotions of The Shinning. I love how you have highlighted REDRUM as well.

I saw a short parody once of The Shinning pitched as a romantic comedy. Not sure if you have seen it, but it's funny to see a movie like The Shining portrayed that way. Here's the link if curious.
