Foolish Pride

Foolish Pride

A Poem by Tiana

 Foolish Pride

Why do we put

each other through

so much unnecessary

grief and pain

when we both know

we belong together

and we're no good

without each other

You're miserable

without me

and I'm miserable

without you

so let's not allow

any foolish pride

to disavow

the love inside

A real barrier to love and surrender. The twain must humble themselves, accepting the inevitable. Very nice and simply stated with truth.

You are welcome.
i think it is pride's job to get in the way...and it usually succeeds.
When two people really love each other, but have some differences, pride will part the seas...
