Slow Dancing

Slow dancing on the lanai

 on a clear balmy night

 with soft moonlight

 on his gorgeous face

 enwrapped in his embrace

 swaying to a lovers dance

 with my head on his shoulders

 Soft and ever so gently

he traces the contours of my body

as the warmth of his breath

caresses the nape of my neck

with tantalizing sensations

that rapidly intensifies

with every breath, every touch

Every movement, every step

and we're only moments away

from disintegrating into ashes

as our passion sizzles

and our souls intermingle

slow dancing on the lanai
