Never Our Fate

I wrote this after a friend of mine came seeking my advice and told me what was bothering him. I told him my honest opinion but it didnt work. which gave me a great idea for this poem.

I never thought I'd be this way,

to be at a loss of words with nothing to say,

I've thought long and hard on what to do,

but all my thoughts keep going back to you,

every time that I say that with you I'm through,

my heart knows that my words aren't true,

I always thought that without you I'd be strong,

now I see that I was wrong,

to have you in my life would be great,

but it seems that you and I to be together was never our fate.

its sucks when you love someone but they dont love you back. I've seen it tear even the strongest men apart. But Que sera sera.
