You

You

A Poem by JacqMarie
"

longing n not being able to say hello

"

Thought I'd see you there, middle of the ocean

sometime in my dream,

Little dark fox hair, maybe I thought,

something,

Maybe you'd ask me back,

anything, but,

yet,

oh, I know

it would be,

to just watch me fall again

I woke up thinking,

I swear-

I'll try and love him,

better than I did you...

But no one listens when I say

I'm used, I'm numb, keep scratching, dig harder

push me under,

knock me around,

I'm already your girl

I will take you gladly, in any of my dreams,

for the comfort of hoping- you won't erase me

knowing, in all fairness,

I must change my life to just say “hello”

pull my words in front of you, like before

in front of you, where they go

Words from your dark fox: this poem is beautiful in its sincerity. Read it aloud, and on the last line of the second stanza, instead of "Im already your girl" it sounds better read, "I'm already your knock-around girl", "knock me around / im already your knock around girl". You always talk of falling, as if you're falling from grace. Focus on your words, friend of mine, it can get worse. Trust me.

Your fallen Angel

I write to feel better, or to feel something. I find myself very detached from my reality and especially my relationships there in. I've always been this way, daily life can feel like a movie and I'm .. more..
