The Rock of My Salvation

The Rock of My Salvation

A Poem by JadedSparrow

His Word prompts & encourages me:

Lift your voice & make a joyful noise

Unto Him, I offer my praise obediently

For He is the only one worthy of it

The only one deserving of this sacrifice

So I will sing a song His angels cannot

Rejoicing in the abundance of His Grace

Reveling in the totality of His Forgiveness

Marveling at the sincerity of His Love

No matter the staggering amount I’ve committed

I am washed clean form the taint of my sins

Indeed, a song His angels cannot sing

Redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb

For this is the nature of His promise to me

Since He is not one to deal in deceit

Not a man guilty of a lying tongue

I am comforted utterly by His Longsuffering

And I find a blissful sense of peace in His Mercy

For He is the Rock of my salvation.

This is sweet. I especially like this line, "So I will sing a song His angels cannot."
