I long for you...

I long to see you,
I long to be with you,

To hold you,
To kiss you,
To love you,

I long to take a brisk walk on the beach,
while holding hands and then relax a minute,
and write love letters in the sand,

I desire to be completely in tune with your every need,
and when you're not here my heart bleeds,

I long to get lost in your beautiful blue eyes,
they so much resemble the gorgeous skies,

I know that you desire the same,
so let's quit playing this little game,

I love you you,
and you love me, and as one we're supposed to be,

We make one another better,
we can handle this crazy life together,

So babe, please take my hand and allow me to be your man,
we'll let God handle the rest of the plan...

I long for you,
I want you,
I need you,
and I promise, my love for you is true...

A common theme for poets (myself included), and you did a majestic job of illustrating the feeling of longing. Your emphasis on infinitive verbs throughout the piece really give structure and clarity to the whole thing, and your description of these intense desires is poignant. A very good poem here! :)
