Shut up and kiss me

enjoy

I'm a dangerous man

I say in such a way

But she stayed

And took my hand

 

But, im a dangerous man

I cry, with a teary eye

But she said "i'll try"

And rubbed my hand

 

But I'm a horrible  man

I glared into her lovely stare

"I will never let you down!" she declared

And  wrapped  my arm around her soft neck

 

But, how can you be with me?

She looked up pleased

With the gust of wind hitting the trees

She said "shut up and kiss me"

Cracking title. It instantly made me want to read, as I like anything that starts with a verb. The first line of the poem continues the excitement in what becomes a sort of tango of passion, with the man flashing his warning signs, but with the woman only becoming the more interested the redder the warning signs become. Great stuff. Is she attracted more to his dangerous masculinity, or his honesty?
