Until Next Time

Until Next Time

A Poem by Jason Shadows
"

The Change Of A Life Time.

"
"Dread decisions i've just made, take me
where i stand on white clouds that shine.
I look ahead and see a woman standing
so i run to her hoping she has answers.
In a white suit and sparkling golden hair
i stop and try to speak to her but i can't.
She turns around and slowly walks toward me
she say 'hello my name is fate' your fate.
Beyond stunning, she gives a slight smile
as i try to ask 'why am i here' she chuckles.
The wind whispers 'why' like my echo,
the sky holds me still with its blue body.
'You can't move but you have become
so shy but why' she asks with no words.
Pointing at me, she takes her finger and puts
it on my chest and says 'i like you, your cute'.

'But you don't belong here' she says, and a with
push, i fall backwards watching her wave goodbye.
I awaken in the ambulance with two medics
and dazed while hurting with pain inside.
My blured vision sees the same woman helping me
and she says 'it's ok relax, your hurt please lay still'.
When i wake up in the hospital bed, there is a letter
and it has 'until next time we meet' signed by fate."
