No Sir

No Sir

A Poem by Jason Shadows
"

Ask Again.

"
"Excuse Me Sir Yes You Sir.
I Have Seemed To Be Lost.
 I Believe I've Over Slept.
 Guess I Missed My Train.

 The Man Turns With Sorrow.
 A Face To Remember Forever.
 It's The Sad Feeling Within.
 A Brittle Cold Smilish Face.

 Slowly He Says To Me.
As Tears Fall From His Face.
 Sluggish Fire Ignites From Them.
But Evaporate Before They Hit The Floor.

NO SIR Your On The Right Track.
Your Final Destination Is Here Sir.
 Look Your Handcuffs Have Melted.
Away I Race Pass Him To The Engine.

 'He Says I'm Free Now'

The Front Of The Train Has Teeth.
Demonic Eyes A Doomtrain It Is.
 No Tears No Hope Nothingness.
For You Sir He Says With A Brittle Laugh.

I Turn To The Window As Hits Me.
I'm In Hell But I See Through It.
The Window Of Fate In My Hate.
I Close My Eyes And Wake Up.

The Light Blinds Me As I'm Lifted.
Up And Off My Death Bed I'm Alive.
What A Nightmare I Say Out Loud.
As The Doctor Turns To Me He Says.

                  No Sir."

This was an interesting visit to the "dark atmospheric world where light and shadows collide" Actually enjoyed your dark dream...Images created by the word play kept my attention, drawing this reader on with the teasing darkness. I like it dude...
