Unbalanced equilibrium

Unbalanced equilibrium

A Poem by Just Jayren

Hundreds create meaning for billions

Only hundreds questions the ‘meanings’ meaning

To many set an accord within pre-conceived boundaries

With no notion of possible potential

Or a heartfelt happiness

an endless endurance persists with the acceptance of life

The few reap while the rest sow

Red hands of blood, black hands of coal, ash and dirt

leave those paying misguided prices for any misfortune

There are those who know Sun Tzu, wear Toga’s and clench

onto small entities with selfish means of ‘self preservation’

and yet nor loud of quite minds can alter the screen in front

of our eyes

Eyes filled with, clueless confusion and an emerging emotion of

recognition

Neither outlandish or collective protest have achieved any desire line

away from the futility which plays within our souls unopposed

leaving us cynical yet unresponsive

I know this is weird but I have moments lol.. and I can't help it.. The feeling I got with this great write is one of stagnant water.. Water yet..still.. Wet..yet nothing you'd swim in. You see it...but you don't want to quench your thirst there.. I know I'm weird but that's how it landed on me.. :) xo

I like the questions raise by strong statements and description. Knowledge should be wisdom in our world and life. Few glimpses of responsive thoughts in our world. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

Loved the word play, your words hold true. I love this, For some reason I though of adele singing this... I don't honestly know why I mean there is nothing really connecting her to it but I did.

I do think that this is the most straightforward line here. it's sad that everywhere in the world, these acts of selfishness and injustice are practiced. yes it is a truly cynical view. but this is how most of the people see it. you've written it well! congrats :)

Great job! I love how you expressed your thoughts in such an astounding way. Every word is true, making it sad. Many things in life are unfair, and yet, nothing changes

"The few reap while the rest sow
Red hands of blood, black hands of coal, ash and dirt
leave those paying misguided prices for any misfortune"

...powerful and strong.

Well done! Keep writing! :)

Loved it! The world indeed has a cynical approach when there are so many issues that aren't solved. Hardworkers don't always reap the benefits, and its significance is slowly fading. Certainly an eye-opener, with your powerful thoughts with hints of defiance. Words of wisdom there, from the beginning to the end, and can't agree more. Well written.

This is very nice composed, talking about misfortune and injustice, hatred and it's very emotional and truthfulness! Some kind of life, i mean drama-poem. The world is always unfair.
I like you flow of thoughts.
I specially like the third stanza, 100 for this!
Thanks for sharing..Keep it up!
