![]() Downside of DistanceA Poem by JenniferMarie
One evening, we walked
past a field of sunflowers stretching back for miles the orange sun setting, even among such beauty I pictured my dog back home springing up in the air just to get closer to me.
I wondered if he understood when I said I’ll be back soon and then left to Poland or if he waited by the door each day at the time he instinctively knows I’ll arrive home from the office. In that moment, I called home they were leaving to the park I could just see his little nose stuffed in buttercups, then, leading the way up the hill to our favorite spot under the magnolia tree. for Maestro my Yorkshire Terrier © 2016 JenniferMarieFeatured Review
