Worthless?

thinking

I can't:
make you laugh all day.
make you smile tears away.

I know:
I'm awkward to be around.
I'm clumsy and a little loud.

Sometimes I wonder:
Do I make a difference?
Could you smile
without me there?

If one person hates me,
if many despise me,
does that make me worthless?
Do I even have a part here?

"If you are breathing,
you still have a chance."

Then. . . I'll give it my all.
