The claw

The claw

A Poem by Joey Martinez

The world is populated with the unjust so perhaps the reapers claw has been busted
Or perhaps rusted, slowly taking it’s time to unwind the world of such evil and hate.
Maybe God still has faith in these people who have a quantity of evil experience?
Or has he forgot about them, a mere clearance section in a world of hot items.
I used to believe the reaper would haunt those with nightmares rather than dreams.
But now I grew older and adapted to world much colder and realized it’s just.... luck.
Either you survive or you’re fucked.
Doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad.
Fulfilled or sad.
That claw is coming towards your view and there’s nothing you can do.
Just accept defeat and either be the devils pet or heavens treat.
But for now..... relax and enjoy the gift of life.
Cherish every f*****g second.
