Insanely sane

Insanely sane

A Poem by Joey Martinez

A lot of individuals seem to be attracted to Ted Bundy, but I believe it’s not the person it’s the characteristics he obtains.
Some women love the charm, they love the intelligence, but they adore the evil.
They cherish the balance of good and evil.
The tenderness of a humans voice masking over the dominance of sadistic intentions.
It’s a sexual pleasure for many, and in this day and age, sex sells and business is booming.
These people could care less about the man, it’s the characteristics that matter, it’s the character they desire.
What good is water without some fire?
Humans have such strange attractions and most keep it hidden to avoid judgement.
I know most of us love a little bit of evil, and that’s okay.
You can chase the monsters but beware of turning into one.
The power of risk can turn love into lust, it can drive us into this high that’s hard to come down from.
It’s addicting and can easily overpower the good in us all.
If you chase, don’t fall.
