Stone Circle Mystery

Stone Circle Mystery

A Poem by John Phoenix Hutchinson.
"

My new poem "Stone Circle Mystery". John Phoenix Hutchinson (C)2012 You are standing at the heart of an ancient mystical stone circle.

"

 Stone Circle Mystery.

Time has no implication, no symbolization here.

Within the circle of the standing stones, you are immune.

Body engaged, entwined with the earth, held captivated.

Standing more like a statue, than the stones themselves.

In this captured space the significance of spirit soars.

Mystical magnificence invigorates, motivates the soul.

You are singular in the universal metropolis and centre of the all.

The solar and lunar tides sweep over you, a torrent of emotion.

Lost in a flood of sensation, elated passion for life.

Overwhelmed by the vast domain of never ending space.

Your heart is renewed and you enter heavenly innocence.

My thanks :)
Told you this was a Premier League Poem. Its partly because people can imagine standing there.....and can feel the force of your words. Like I said have 'forwarded' this one.

I like it. I told you I have a soft spot for standing stones! The feeling of standing there was well created. I felt like it got a little wordy occasionally, read through and see what you think about that. I would have liked a line about the actual texture if the stone, everything that was included was so big in its concept it would have been cool to have one little piece that grounds this to reality.

That's all just opinion and things to think about.... Great job!

You make this poem almost like you are there standing in front of where this photo was taking, experiencing it with your soul. The way you describe it is amazing.
