About You

About You

A Poem by Abhyuday Majhi

About You

Looking to the vast and the deep forest of Amazon,

It reminds me your dark eyes and the mistry behinds it.

Which I haven’t solved yet.

Looking to the wide grassland of China,

I can imagine your long and smooth hair,

Which curls around your cloudy soft cheeks.

Looking to the silent Mediterranean water,

I could think about your quiet and clam nature.

I always visualise you in my dreams,

Talking with me with your sweet voice like a nightingale.

Your beautiful lips remind me about,

The cherry blossom trees of Japan.

Apart from these your glorious smile,

Like the sunrise from mount Sinai, makes me happy and,

Gives me a heavenly satisfaction.
