Wisps of humid

essence circulate in

the atmosphere of being.

Translucent whims

waft among the arctic

rushes of desire.

And tremble at

the musical notes

of fulfillment.

'humid rushes of desire'.
Now that is a delicious line!
I enjoy these poems you create out of challenge words.
Great writing!

You used all 8 words in a 27 word poem--that is impressive! And it also has a profound feel to it..beautifully written, Judy. You rock at these lol.

(Personally, I'd rather my whims be opaque.)
"Aloft" is a creative challenge well-met. This piece was geared to soar.
There are few, Judy, who are your equal at such exercises.

Never knowing what I might read with you! You show a diversity lacked by some here, well done my friend.
