Love Knows No Season

Love Knows No Season

A Poem by MsJewel
"

love poem

"

photograph compliments of myopera

Love knows no season

Yet… I look to you as I would a summer day

of azure dreams and lush green meadows

and a warm wind chasing the clouds away

It is this wind

singing through the trees,

                        a wind chime of melodies

dancing with the flowers on the hill

in velvet scents and rose petal whispers

soothing my senses and stirring my soul

And should a raindrop fall on such a day of sweetness,

I’ll embrace this sudden storm and tiptoe through rainbows

knowing they’re not out of reach

                             not on a summer day

For you are the wind

               lifting me up

                      beautiful you

weaving my heart with sunbeam smiles

Love knows no season…

yet you are a summer day

'Love Knows No Season'
Msjewel,
Beautiful writing of seasons found in anther within experiences of impacting passion.
Loved this one especially':
"And should a raindrop fall on such a day of sweetness,
I'll embrace this sudden storm and tiptoe through rainbows
Knowing they're not out of reach'
not on a summer day"
Inspired for sure. Thank you for the beauty.
Blessings,
Kathy

A love poem indeed...

"yet you are a summer day" -- great closing, and a great line in terms of your concept.

I love the use of seasons in this piece, particularly summer, as it seems the most constant of seasons; where the light is the brightest and warmest. Love has her dark days, and to think of someone in terms of a "summer day" means that the light of love is shining eternally. Nicely written and metaphorically well put together.

Beautiful piece Julie, someone certainly someone inspires you like a summer day, maybe a daughter? Love the presentation, it looks like a beautiful hand written letter, a visual treat. Keith.

You've worked the seasonal metaphors to perfection here...I love the idea of tiptoeing through rainbows...this is a piece that dances and vibrates with life and love...wonderful work :)
