You Are Lovely

You Are Lovely

A Poem by MsJewel

art ~ "Warmth" by Vidan

You came to me

            like April

                    slow and sweet

The breeze through my curtains

embracing my spirit like some sweet balm

the freshness of which never fades, but rises

like the quickening of senses

that finds me

              where spring and lovers meet

the perfume of passion

catching the light, weightless,

         whirling golden in the sun

with the taste and the voice of love…

whispering words,

               poetic words,

                        words wet with your sweetness

honey tongued and soft with desire

I drink from your lips

a breath of beauty

                   your beauty

forever etched upon my promised heart

                                      and you are lovely

This was like sitting amongst Magnolia trees breathing in their sweet perfume. It was intense with a subtle touch from your pen. Truly an amazing piece in which I could find myself lost in. Bravo!!

A beautiful poem for Spring and love. It is good when they can meet. The words were tender and true. You led the reader to a very good ending. Always a pleasure to read your amazing poetry.
