Your beautiful poem stirs memories of innocence and awakening for this old man. Anyone with a romantic bone in their body would have their first "kiss" flame re-ignite from your words.
Thank you for your beautiful words.

Julie, I enjoyed your poem the first time, and more so the second time.
Your writing has a beautiful romantic feel to it. Pay no mind to this trash.

Should a kiss be stolen,
it is only proper etiquette to hunt down the thief
and take it back.
I absolutely love the rhyme pattern and soft flowing rhythm in this lovely little scribble
It almost sounds like the first verse is the mans viewpoint and the second verse is the woman's
Really a beautiful poem.

" If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"
I try to use that when ever I read poetry.
Maybe we could all put this mantra to use here......

Its funny
i have this image in my head
of this guy
the way he looked at me
i can smell the air in his car
his scent
how his hand felt
how his eyes twinkled
how he felt so innocent to my soul
no way that can be relived twice
and no way will i ever forget that moment
anytime of the day
i shut my eyes and i see him the way he was
i said nothing
he was talking alot
i was so lost in everything that is beautiful about him
pretty much everything
the guy has not one flaw
not one
I remember thinking how is this man single ........ who is the woman that walked right passed this air of gorgeous ........ i would slap her for leaving my baby
but then again i am so glad she's gone
because i am in heaven and just music played in my head ever since
i love this write

I'm glad my words brought back lovely memories. Thank you for your kind words :) Julie
A beautiful description of the impact of a first tumultuous kiss can produce as love temperatures rise to the heavens of bliss so poetically produced and so desired. Yummy Julie!
What a delightful piece this is, Julie. Now I am blushing :-) It is so lovely and light with a sweetness to it that is just irresistible. Another glorious write from your gifted pen. Simply wonderful!

ahhhhhhh, ms jewel this is a jewel...a fine ruby not a pink tourmaline...the light touch and promise of the tourmaline drawing us to seek and share the love and deep red ruby passion hiding in the heartsoul...delightful touch of love peeking and humor slipping in...
I've been writing poetry for 15 years. My poetry isn't unique in any way, but it is written from the heart.
I have trouble keeping up with everyone's poetry, so please send me rr's.
