And so the cycle repeats

And so the cycle repeats

A Poem by While the blossoms still cling

And so the cycle repeats
You don't eat
The sadness is a friend
A knife helps you mend
Joy is unknown
Until he becomes known
He professes his love
But is then gone with a shove
The darkness circles in
And the cycle begins
Once more

Author's Note

While the blossoms still cling
Pardon the first two lines and the last two lines, it's a little rough.

The repetition gave strength to the poem. You have good skills. To write a complete story in so few words. I like the ending to the amazing poem. Most of us repeat mistakes and learn to live with them.
