Is this the big picture
Foreshadow of my life
I hope it is not
See the reflection of the wife

Hate in her eyes
I couldn’t replace
The high school sweetheart
In my face

Change my future
Oh entity of love
It’s so hollow
Erase this thereof

My kids followed
After her loss
Alone in the now
Infinite sorrow to cross
