this reminds me of one of my favorite poets, Sylvia Plath...

her silent screams, maybe within her poetry and letters, but no one listened, or if they did, they did not understand the cries for help...

Sylvia was a powerful poetess. I once had read her 'Varsity'. Just one but that left a strong impression nonetheless.
