Frustration

Frustration

A Story by K.M. Lucero

She ran as fast as her clumsy feet would allow her, down the cold musky stairs, through the like green kitchen of her mother’s home. Bursting through the door she inhaled a deep gulp of fresh air.

Kareena took in the days warm rays on her delegate freckled skin. Of course, once again, life was taking its toll on her. Kareena never could fully understand why her journey in this life always found pain and disappointment.

Sulking to the ground her fist still tightly held she couldn’t believe that she had allowed her idiot brother to entice her to hit him. She wasn’t one for fighting; honestly, she wanted nothing more than to lead a simple happy life. She wanted a good home, a man to love and lots of children,

Sadly her life seemed to always steer the wrong way. She thought by now that her life would be set but it was more up in the air than ever before.
