A Day to Contemplate Life

A Day to Contemplate Life

A Poem by Kat_BT

I could use a day

in a way

where nothing bothers me

and everything i see

is clear

A day when the storms clear

and i do not fear

what is to come

or just how numb

life can be

When life is at rest

and I've done my best

to do what i can

and haven't ran

away

Let me think

instead of sink

and understand

what lies on the land

of my feelings

Life will breeze on by

so don't be so shy

get out there

and take a risk not so fair

to live your best

A writing in poetry form from the heart, from deep within letting those feelings walk around on paper and be known and felt and understood.. Great job..

This is very well written... i like it.... I think we all want some day where it's all clear... where nothing goes wrong.... but then if we have that day we only look at it and wonder why something didn't happen.... There is no perfect day unfortunatly.... You have a great point to it.... and I can feel you yearning for a day where it's clear.... Great Write

oh my gee's I'm on a roll with the whole music-quote thing, here...
It was COMPLETELY by chance that I had my music playing on shuffle and it came to the WINNIE THE POOH soundtrack...I was about to skip it, but it was a dialouge and I was like, "since when are there dialogues in this CD?" (I got it for the tigger song and the little black rain cloud...) and it turns out it is about when Christopher Robin is getting older and he stops visiting pooh and them as much...

So, I was trying to zone it out because Kathryn's poems get top priority over Winnie the Pooh, but it came to this part and it was like, "OMG THEY'RE THE SAME!"

Hence, me quoting it.

"Chris: But what I like best is...just doing nothing.
Pooh: How do you do just nothing?
Chris: Well, it's when grown-ups ask, 'What are you going to do?' and you say, 'Nothing,' and you go out and do it.
Pooh: I like that. Let's do it all the time.
Chris: Y'know something, Pooh. I'm not going to do just nothing anymore...
Pooh: You mean, never again?
Chris: Well, not so much...Pooh, when I'm away, just doing nothing, will you come up here sometimes?
Pooh: You mean alone? Just me?
Chris: Yes. And Pooh, promise you won't ever forget me? Ever?
Pooh: Oh, I won't Christopher, I promise.
Chris: Not even when I'm 100?
Pooh: How old shall I be then?
Chris: 99. *giggles* Silly old bear...
Narrator: Then Christopher and Pooh walked hand and hand, down the forest path, and they said good-bye.
But wherever they go, and whatever happens to them on the way, in that enchanted place, on the top of the forest, a little boy and his bear will always be playing."

Yep, that's it. yay for the wonders of A.A.Milne and his creation, WINNIE THE POOH BEAR.
heck yes.

Love always,
