Fight for Me or Turn your Back

A promise that I want, a wish that I hope to capture. A dream that I want to believe in. There is a nightmare in between. I try to push at it but it lashes back. I poke it and a waterfall pours out, full of distrust. I reach for you to help me keep Hope. Then when i watch you to see past you...I cant see. I cant figure it out, I'll create my life how I want but I want you to be weaved in some how. So what happens now? What do you say? What of him, inside, say of this? Will he fight, will you? Consider this; tell me you want out and I shall leave with no tear to shed or even a backward glance. Believe me, I can do this...if everything is dead, even if it'll hurt.
