Don’t Cry For Me

Don’t worry, my dear

I’m not truly gone

Look around you, and see

I’m with you always.
Don’t cry for me.

When the clouds come out,

When the wind blows the trees;

That’s me, telling my friends here

All the beautiful things you have done.

When the sunshine is bright,

When it’s ninety degrees;

That’s my pride radiating

For the job I have done.

When the snow falls,

When the town’s buried deep;

That’s the quilt I am making

So you’ll have a piece of my heart.

When it’s icy outside,

When there’s a cold glass around;

That’s the mirror I gave you

So you can see how beautiful you are.

When the rain starts to fall,

When the weather is cloudy;

That’s just me, tending a garden,

My garden of beautiful flowers.

I want you to grow

I want you to see

All the things in this life

That are important to me.

Never give up.

Never look sad.

Stand strong and proud,

I’m all around.

I’ve got the best view,

I’m able to see you.

Keep these memories,

And…Dearest, please,

Don’t cry for me.

Phoenix Alleena
This has special meaning. This is for them, as if she was speaking
to them through all of this.
She was my friend for all these years too,
and I hope that she's having fun wherever she is :D

This is one of the best poems I have ever read that was written for someone. The words say so much about the meaning this person had to you. Lovely.
